From recruitment to managing employee and now human capital management– the role of human resource has evolved a lot over the years. And, it’s time again to reinvent the human capital management services by defining their strategies. More often than not companies do not have any stringent strategies which can be used in making critical decisions. But to develop an aligned strategy for different departments is what contributes to the success of an organization. The sooner companies understand this the better will be their future prospects.

The very first question is the most important to answer for without knowing your business type, you can set finite goals, timeline, and practical targets. As you proceed towards achieving your goals, stopping for a while and self-evaluating is after all not a bad thing to do and ask a few questions.

The second question is basically your source of income-  so knowing where your money is coming from is but essential. These are basically your tangible asset, so designing a strategy which will help you to reach them can prove to be very beneficial for your future as well as the present. After you have answered the above questions- what you can do is analyze both your product and the customers. One has to look from a neutral point of view and fairly answer – How will the product benefit the audience?

Only once you have answered all these questions can you move forward towards designing and strategizing your ideas into policies. When you follow the human resource strategies religiously, the results can be seen within first few quarters. For having a work plan is more easy to follow than randomly picking up goals midway.
